Graceful Country
This piece is created to show the relationship between Country, people, animals, culture, and resources country provides.
In the painting we see the bounty, colour and links the waterways afford us. Water is beautiful, enriching and provides resources, abundance, and sustainability.
It connects land and sea, grows and builds plantations, drink for animals and people, fishing for man and views to humble and enrich all souls we share with in life and in the dreaming. We walk together, the dots in the painting represent our paths and journeys, the bright colours are the imprints and moments, the handprints represent how meaningful connections and relationships that are created amongst the plentiful resources and blessings of country.
In the moments we share as people and in interactions we encounter. The meeting place and sitting symbols represent the people of the community and living on the land coming together. In partnership with the work completed by Grace Professional Services, the intention of this painting to connect, inspire and signify their intention to grow and expand the capabilities and activities in the NDIS space of those on this Country, The bush fruit symbolises the client’s goals, and their achievements big or small and are the results of the supports, advocacy and connections built in the servicing they receive. Respect for all cultures, background, and beliefs and an appreciation of the country, beauty and life is that depicted and presented in the art. This piece sets the tones and connections intended and growing within Grace to the lands and people’s they work with and on.
